Jeremy Nicholson教授代谢组学讲座通知

Jeremy Nicholson教授是国际分子表型组领域顶尖科学家、英国国家表型组中心主任、英国皇家医学科学院院士、国际代谢组学奠基人，在国际上享有"代谢组学之父"的称号。

Jeremy Nicholson教授在分子表型组领域取得了一系列具有国际影响的研究成果，在Nature, Science, Cell, PNAS等SCI杂志发表论文 700余篇，篇均被引70余次，H-index为98。Jeremy Nicholson教授目前担任NPJ Molecular Phenomics的共同主编，J Proteome Res副主编，同时是Molecular Systems Biology等国际杂志的编委。美国Mayo Clinic等及我国清华大学与上海交通大学等科研院所的荣誉教授，中国科学院爱因斯坦讲习教授。

讲座题目：Human and gut microbiota interactions for personalized medicines

Abstract: It is now widely recognised that the human microbiomes both inside our gut and on all major epithelial surfaces form a critical bridge between our genomic make up and our environment and diet. Multiple non-infectious diseases are now thought to arise partly our of disturbed microbiomes and their consequent effects on host biochemistry and immunology. The multiple microbe host metabolic axes will be discussed in relation to disease risk and response to therapy and in relation to personalised and public healthcare problems for multiple diseases.
